**About the company**

Our client is an established leading supplier of heavy industry supplies. They are seeking for a supply chain manager who will be responsible for ensuring that purchasing, inventory, and logistics are all managed efficiently.

**About the role**
- As the supply chain manager, you will manage strategic and operational Supply Chain and Logistic operations function properly across the organisation.
- The supply chain manager will ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s Supply Chain activities and is fundamental in ensuring an agile, customer focused and sustainable operating model.

**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to.**
- Drive the supply chain function and continue improving the policies, procedures and framework that aligns with the brand's strategy for the future.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to be proactive to increase productivity and streamline the chain.
- Managing a small Supply Chain and Logistics team effectively by setting objectives and defining development plans for direct reports.
- Continuous improvement of supply chain processes and projects that utilise best practices.
- Overseeing and optimising the businesses warehouses and logistics footprint.
- Dealing with negotiating contracts with suppliers on both national and international level.
- Managing relationship with all business stakeholders including freight forwarders.

**Job Requirements**
- A degree in business administration or related field.
- Previous experience in establishing and executing a Supply Chain & Logistics framework and strategy.
- A ‘hands-on' leadership style, with the ability to work within diverse teams within the region.
- Experience in a manufacturing / trade supply/ industrial field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain process fundamentals of purchasing and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to amalgamate financial and non-financial information.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with the stakeholders.
- Can identify and facilitate effective high-level customer and stakeholder relationships.

**The Perks**

Salary range $ 140 - 150K + Super
