**Introducing the ARISE Trial**:
We are looking for a dedicated Research Assistant/Research Nurse to join our team in the Allergic Rhinitis Improvement through Strategic Education (ARISE) Trial. This innovative study aims to improve the lives of adolescents and young adults aged 14-29 suffering from moderate to severe allergic rhinitis (hay fever).
This role will work closely with the Pillar 1 team, ARISE trial investigators, recruitment site leads as well as the Pillar 1-2 Data Manager. It is available as a 0.4FTE role (with potential for expansion) and will report to the NACE Projects and Partnerships Manager. Flexibility to work from home for part of the role may be considered.
**As a Research Assistant you will play a vital role in**:
Coordinating participant screening, informed consent, and randomisation.
Delivering targeted educational interventions to enhance patient care.
Administering questionnaires and assessing nasal spray techniques through telehealth.
Managing telehealth appointments and data entry in our REDCap database.
Supporting trial progress reporting and collaboration with leading allergy experts.
**What we need from you**:
Degree/Honours/Masters qualification in Science, Nursing or related discipline
Appropriate level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation
Experience and proficiency in using REDCap or other research databases
Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong time management, organisational and analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
