**The opportunity**:
**Your responsibilities include**:
Acquires and manages data from the prototype device according to data management plans
Develops algorithms using robust methodology, considering relevant standards (ISO, IEC etc) and regulatory requirements
Undertakes high calibre competitive research
Identifies ways to improve data collection/quality utilised by the team/group or research
Contributes to the supervision of students, research assistants and to the skill development of peers
**What we need from you**:
Relevant engineering PhD/Doctoral qualification and relevant postdoctoral experience
A demonstrated deep understanding and track record in wearable technology theory and development, including sensor technology, safety considerations and algorithm development
Excellent time management, organisational and analytical problem-solving skills
Experience in knowledge sharing, development, mentoring and support of employees and students
