The Role This is an exciting opportunity for Inventory Controller to join our Purchasing team. Based in Truganina, this role will see you plan, execute and report on all aspects of inventory management to maintain optimum warehouse usage, efficiencies, and inventory accuracy. You will ensure day to day inventory functions are completed within KPI expectations.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Oversee and facilitate daily cycle count requirements
- Circulate the cycle count with current balances daily
- Follow up on stock count sheets, enter stock counts and reconcile.
- Manage and process all stock receipts, and investigate and report on inventory variances
- Complete new inventory item request forms and process backorders when stock shipments arrive
- Manage and ensure all interstate stock transfers are completed within allotted timeframes.
- Generate order recommendations for local suppliers off Netstock
- Generate work orders for locally assembled products as required
- Follow up and review all outstanding purchase orders and update Netsuite

**What we're looking for**:

- Warehousing and Inventory experience in similar role essential
- Good communication skills and experience at multi-tasking essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Experience with computer-based warehouse management system (WMS),
- Proactive approach to challenges and take initiative to implement solutions and improvements
