An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this highly reputable, Australian owned and operated organisation in a varied and dynamic role. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records through cycle counting and stock checks. Your responsibilities will include ensuring inventory accuracy, managing system inventory movements, and generating inventory reports.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Provide insights into warehouse stock levels and optimize stock transfers as necessary
- Manage and audit system inventory movements to ensure adherence to processes and procedures
- Track and report inventory variances
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies related to inventory control
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders and address any customer feedback regarding available inventory
- Complete daily duties within standard working hours and achieve a high level of job satisfaction
**About You**:
- A continuous improvement mindset
- At least 3 years in a warehousing/distribution environment
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and knowledge of ERP
- Intermediate computer skills, with knowledge of WMS systems
- Strong ability to work autonomously, whilst also a part of a team
- Strong numeracy skills with an analytical mindset
- A can-do attitude with a growth mindset
