We're on the hunt for a motivated, engaged **Head of Security** to take responsibility and ownership of Vix security strategy and governance, alongside management and leadership of Vix Security teams globally. The remit will include incident response management, SecOps and security compliance program development. This opportunity will suit someone that loves a variety of responsibilities, working across multiple service streams and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders across a range of diverse internal technology practices and external partners (eg; AWS). You’ll lead our Security teams with the goal of continuous improvement and implementation of security best practice.

**What will you be responsible for?**
- Line management of all Security staff
- Understand the current Vix platform & estate and build a transformational roadmap to create efficiencies & optimisations
- Work with Vix partners (including AWS) to drive best practice and positive outcomes, continuous improvement
- Provide and utilise a clear escalation path to the CEO for security related concerns
- High level of technical acumen
- Excellent understanding of cloud computing technologies and solutions
- Strong understanding of Cloud Economics and Cloud Architectures
- Strong understanding of Cyber Security best practices
- 5+ years’ experience managing technical teams, in cloud native or hybrid environment
- Strong background/experience with security standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to deliver compelling and clear messaging, articulate roadmaps, constraints, blockers with a solutions, customer focused mindset
- Tertiary degree in Information Technology Management or equivalent discipline (desirable)
- PCI Professional qualification (desirable)
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or similar (desirable)
- Experience working with external auditors/QSA (desirable)
- High level of technical acumen
