Head of Operations - £120,000 We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Operations to join our Information & Technology team We want customers to feel 100% positive about giving us their information. As part of our Technology Platforms leadership team, you’ll make sure they can both trust and enjoy the Aviva products they use. From data engineering to cyber security support, we help colleagues develop water-tight (and hack-proof) software and make the best use of all the information we collect. Thanks to us, everyone can have confidence in the technology that’s redefining our future A bit about the job: You will be in charge of Technology Platforms pivotal initiatives and critical projects, controls and cyber projects across the department. As well as leading the team to ensure appropriate operational management information is in place to advise decision making around budgets, resourcing, and controls. Skills and experience we’re looking for: - Validated IT leader who is technically adapt, strong commercial mentality and understands Risk and Control environment- You are commercially astute, ideally have worked with in a mixed sourcing model and management budgets >£10m- Background experience of working within the Banking or Insurance sector would be a bonus as well as having experience with risk, controls and compliance- You keep to date with emerging technology themes and have changed how teams operate- Understand a variety of change delivery frameworks What you’ll get for this role: - Starting salary between £120,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications- Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)- Eligibility for annual performance bonus of between 0% - 50%- Long Term Incentive Plan (Restricted Stock Units) for high performers, between 10% and 30% of salary- Private Medical Insurance for self- Family friendly parental and carer’s leave- 29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days- Up to 40% discount for Aviva products- Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars- Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme- 21 volunteering hours per year Aviva is for everyone: We are inclusive and welcome everyone We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you.
