About the role
You will have end to end accountability for the Service Management Service, this includes development of the strategy and target state for the service, performance management against target metrics, delivery management and engagement across business and technical stakeholders.
The Service own and facilitate operational processes including: IT Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Item (CI) Requests and Operational Support Requirements (OSR) Documentation. The team provides the interface into the Business, ensuring quality of service. The goal is to ensure maximum availability and performance of our systems, achieved through leveraging our operational processes, ensuring the customer experience is a premium one.
You will be accountable for successful delivery and implementation of various initiatives which could be a combination of transformation, BAU and/or compliance to meet business needs and realise benefits.
**Is this role you will get to**:
Develop current and target state for the Service Management Service
Ensure the Service operates effectively with the right capability or identifying need for additional capability. And developing, mentoring, and leading the people within the Service team, and uplifting overall capability
Collaborate across-Practice and Service dependencies for successful business outcomes
Develop and present the Service strategy and deliverables of the Service to all key stakeholders for support to drive modernisation and simplification
About you
You will have technical and business understanding of various Service Management systems and functions. Knowledge and experience with various Service Management systems and processes would be an advantage.

Excellent communication and engagement skills, interacting with business and technical stakeholders at various levels
A proven track record of successfully implementing major initiatives using Agile methodologies
Proven project delivery experience with the ability to drive change in a high-tech development environment
Demonstrated leadership experience, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and high performance
