About the Role

Network Services Officer - Entry Level

Service Stream’s Utilities business is a specialist maintenance and asset management contractor that provides services to the water, power, and industrial sectors. Utilities is responsible for creating, operating, and maintaining public and private infrastructure which services millions of people every day and keeps communities connected and running.

Position Summary

Kick start and develop your career as an Entry Level Network Services Officer, located at our Epsom depot in Bendigo.

Through training, gaining skills and qualifications, you will be supported to develop and deliver core responsibilities of the role, including performing reactive water / sewer network maintenance tasks as required by our client. You will also learn to provide general labour and plant operating skills in the repair of water and sewer assets and other associated network maintenance activities in the Coliban Water region.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- A ‘can do’ attitude, with the enthusiasm to learn and develop
- No prior experience is required, however use of hand-tools or ability to adapt
- Enjoy working outdoors and adaptable to changing environment and situations
- Experience with MS Word and Apps
- Professional and courteous customer service capabilities to engage with customers on-site
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement
- Positive promotion and support of a one team culture with Service Stream and Coliban Water.
- Current drivers licence essential

Operational hours for these positions are based on 40 hours per week. In addition, you will be required to participate in a standby / on call roster on a rotating 4 week basis. The job will therefore involve rostered and emergency call outs in evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Applicants will be required to undertake a full health assessment and functional, national police clearance, right to work and reference checks.
