Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Network Services Coordinator to join our team in Bendigo.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Bendigo, Victoria
Reporting Line: Networks Supervisor
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all works are performed as directed in a competent and safe manner for both employees and members of the public.
- Ensure job OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance in accordance with established procedures, policies and work standards.
- Carry out labour tasks and ensure hand tools and plant are inspected prior to use and operated safely.
- Lead and/or assist site set-up by ensuring safety signage and equipment is deployed in accordance with the TMP at the commencement of the job and removed at the completion of the job.
- Undertake and participate in job and plant hazard identification, and incident notifications.
- Attend and have active involvement in team meetings and toolbox meetings.
- Lead and/or assist in the completion of a job via mobile field computing, including supplier dockets, hazard identification checklists.
- Operate and maintain maintenance requirements of plant, tools and equipment, including fuel, lubrications and fluid levels, encourage staff responsibility for plant and equipment in their use and care.
- Communicate in an effective and professional manner within the team and also to clients and members of the public.
- Ensure company reputation is maintained.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- The job requires performing rostered standby duties on a rotating basis as per EBA.
- Undertake field work unsupervised.
- Undertake scheduling and dispatch duties if required.
- Actively participate and comply with all Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements as outlined in the policies and management systems.
- Actively promote safe and environmentally responsible work practices to other employees and subcontractors and report all non-conformances and incidents.
- Ensuring all activities undertaken comply with the applicable legal requirements, including but not limited to duty of care and prevention of pollution.
About You
- Current Victorian Drivers License.
- Heavy Truck License.
- First Aid Level 1.
- Manual Handling.
- Traffic Control.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Excavator Ticket (LE).
- Loader/Backhoe License.
- Spotters.
- Confined Space Entry.
- Trenching and Shoring Training.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar maintenance or construction role in water & wastewater services.
- General knowledge of water and wastewater rectification networks and repair methods.
- Good knowledge of GIS, asset management, & SCADA systems.
