We are seeking experienced professionals to help strengthen state and local government information and technology governance, information and cybersecurity practices. Our Information Systems Auditors scrutinise the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes, information systems and technology. View some recent Information Systems reports on our website.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about driving systems assurance and governance improvements and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- planning and supervising all aspects of complex information systems audits
- evaluating and enhancing technology governance and security controls
- auditing information systems to identify vulnerabilities and information security gaps
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality outcomes
- overseeing the work of our specialist auditors and external contractors
- managing a variety of internal and external stakeholder expectations
We currently have two full time, permanent positions available. Job share and part-time arrangements may be considered.
We are establishing a pool of candidates for full or part time, permanent and fixed term vacancies that arise. The pool will be open for 12 months. Fixed term appointments may have the possibility of permanency.
This process may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part time) within 12 months of the date of completion of the recruitment process.

Other important informationA relevant tertiary qualification and certification of an appropriate professional body (e.g. CISA, CISM) is required. Throughout this process you will be assessed against the applicant requirements as per the JDF, both work related requirements and leadership expected behaviours.
