**AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank** is seeking a pro-active, creative and responsible **Front Office Overnight Supervisor** to join our established and enthusiastic Front Office Overnight team
**Position Summary**
- Supervise the overnight front office, and wider hotel operation, supporting them with general operational tasks.
- Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, know it inside and out to exceed guest expectations.
- Assist late arrival guests and early departing guests through the overnight check in and departure process.
- Assist guests with late night general enquiries, including general after-hours housekeeping requests, engaging and inspiring guests through each guest experience.
- Manage and coordinate the daily night pack reports.
- Manage hand overs between departments.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
- Take guest reservations and perform cash handling & credit card responsibilities.
- Oversee service standards whilst identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Be a cultural innovator by providing motivation and support to our overnight front office staff.
- Plan and execute team building activities so associates feel part of the global family.
**What we are looking for**
- Experience with OPERA Cloud or similar.
- Previous experience working in an overnight Front Office team.
- An eye for detail, with a data detailed mindset.
- Ability to self-manage and coordinate tasks.
- Relevant experience in a similar supervisory role.
- Working rights in Australia.
- Enthusiastic to escalate and grow your career.
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment.
- Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude.
- **A true night owl - overnight shifts are from 11PM to 7AM.**
