**About the role**
We have an opportunity for a **Records Co-ordinator** to be part of our Business Support, Professional Standards Command. The Records Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Police Records Repository (PRR), including records retrievals and returns while ensuring integrity, accuracy and security of information within the corporate Records Management (RM) System.
Based in Sydney Olympic Park, this position provides a great opportunity to provide support to a large Command across the depth and breadth of information management. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Impeccable attention to detail with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders as a genuine team-player.
- Previous administrative experience in records management, and complaint management systems (archival knowledge is desirable).
- High level computer literacy and ability to use a range of technologies.
- Ability to work in the office five days per week.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.

The destruction of NSW Police Force records, whether in hard-copy or electronic format, is regulated by the NSW State Records Act. Summarise your understanding of the lifecycle or phases of a record, its retention periods and disposal actions.
