**The Position**:

- We are seeking an experienced family lawyer with at least 4-5 years’ experience and aspirations to head our family law department.
- Autonomous conduct of files, under guidance of an experienced family lawyer or lead the team if you have enough experience
- Representing and advising clients with complex business structures and interests
- Drafting and reviewing correspondence necessary for conveyancing transactions.
- Preparation and filing of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits and agreements.
- Negotiating settlements, conducting mediations and attend court hearings when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- 4 + Y PAE in family law
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A strong background in family law in order to be able to provide quality legal advice across a range of family law issues
- Awareness and understanding of business structures including trusts and taxation issues
- Admission to practice law in Australia
