About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced family lawyer looking for your next step in a genuinely supportive and established firm?

A well-established Melbourne-based commercial law firm is seeking a Family Lawyer with 3 years pae min, to join its respected Family Law team. This is a rare opportunity for a Lawyer/Associate/SA to step into a great team, with genuine support, autonomy, and a consistent pipeline of quality work.

You'll be working alongside a collaborative, experienced team with a reputation for delivering clear, compassionate, and strategic advice to clients navigating separation, parenting, and property matters.

The Role

As a member of the team, you will:

  • Advise on complex parenting and financial matters, including parenting arrangements, child support, and spousal maintenance
  • Resolve matters through mediation, negotiation, collaborative law, and litigation when required
  • Assist in family violence and intervention order matters
  • Guide and mentor junior lawyers and help drive the continued growth of the practice

You will have

  • At least 3 years' post-admission experience in family law
  • Strong technical expertise across parenting, property, financial agreements, and litigation
  • A calm, confident, and empathetic approach to client service
  • Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and managing complex asset structures
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Interest in mentoring, leadership, and practice development
