Based in Kingston with some travel around the local area, you will work 38 hours per week with the possibility of some non-call or after hours work.

Casual hourly pay of $33.94.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Respond to a significantly high number of customer requests by conducting investigations into complaints regarding barking and animal noise nuisance
- Gather clear, factual and impartial evidence, affording natural justice to all parties
- Carry out thorough history checks on properties to determine previous noise breaches and activity
- Conduct monitoring of properties for alleged animal nuisance (noise or barking) including capturing observation and audio records using audio recording devices such as Noise Net
- Install, use and record data on manual audio and remote audio devices at complainant or dog owner’s property

**About You**:

- Current C class driver's license
- Well-developed knowledge and extensive practical experience consulting and advising on animal noise nuisance and behaviour and resolution strategies
- Proven ability to conduct investigations and produce effective outcomes
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations or similar would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to work with animals of all behaviour types in a confident and mature manner
- Ability to cope with physical and emotional aspects of the work
