We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised Financial Care Specialist (Accounts Payable) Team Leader, looking to make a real difference through their work at myHomecare in Malvern East.

You will be part of our Better Living Homecare and Just Home Care Packages team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager the Financial Care Specialist Team Leader BLHC and JHCP is responsible for ensuring timely payments of accounts payable, accurate records are kept for each consumer and to assist with active management of consumer balances.

No matter your role with the myHomecare Group, you’ll play a key part in supporting our clients and their families. With us, you’ll become a true expert in accounts payable in the in-home care space - and we’ve got the comprehensive training and development tools to get you there. You’ll be responsible for:

- Training and development of New BLHC and JHCP Accounts payable staff.
- Manage the even distribution of workflow across the team including when there are spikes in volume, or when staff are absent or on leave.
- Assist with identifying and managing negative balances by co-ordinating the approach between the payables team and care managers.
- Assist with identifying and managing income tested fees in conjunction with the accounts receivable team.
- Assist with Reconciliation of accounts.
- Invoice processing and generation.
- Auditing accounts and consumer expenditure when required.
- Update and maintain registers as notified by care managers.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- An accounts related qualification.
- Proven 3 years' experience in an account's role.
- Experience in Accounting at a supervisory level is desirable
- High attention to detail
- Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
- Numerical ability and data entry skills is necessary.
- The right to work in Australia.
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (the myHomecare Group will organise via WorkPro at no cost).
- Proof of Covid Vaccination.
