We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at mecwacare. The Finance Officer - Accounts Payable plays a key role within the finance department providing accounts payables support including completing the day-to-day activities for weekly accounts payable processing and associated tasks in a timely and accurate manner and observing all audit and regulatory requirements whilst maintaining strong internal and external customer relationships.

**What you bring***:

- Accounts payables experience (minimum 3 years) with a working knowledge of financial procedures.
- Experienced in use of computerised payables systems.
- Customer service focused with excellent telephone communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
- Sound administrative and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated time management ability.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to a team environment.

**Desirable**:

- Dynamics Great Plains system experience.
- Kwiktag document management system experience.
