We’re always looking for better ways to deliver for our customers - and for our people. **Your Role in a Nutshell**: Joining a close knit and embracing team, as our Payroll Operations Lead, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact in various aspects of payroll management, leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that Origin personnel are paid accurately and on time while also leading and optimising our payroll processes. Your responsibilities are diverse and encompass the following: Key Responsibilities: - Leadership: Provide strong leadership skills for the day-to-day management of the payroll team to ensure high-performance service delivery. - Compliance: Ensure that all time-critical and legislative payroll obligations are met, including weekly, fortnightly, and out-of-cycle payroll processing, and associated "end-of-period" activities (e.g., superannuation, PAYGW, Payroll Tax, third-party payments). - Issue Resolution: Serve as the first point of contact for escalated payroll-related inquiries and issues, providing initial review and prompt responses. - Industrial Relations: Utilize your deep understanding of Australia's Industrial Relations framework and experience working with multiple complex Enterprise Agreements and Awards. - Mentoring: Provide support and mentoring to the payroll team, developing, executing, and maintaining training plans. - Customer Service: Uphold high customer service standards and protocols throughout the organization. **Why You're the Perfect Fit**: We're looking for someone exceptional, and that's where you come in.
