**The role**

Reporting to the Payments and Hardship Manager, you will assist in leading and developing a team of Collections Specialists towards the achievement of collection revenue targets. The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of day-to-day collections duties and processes, and supporting the team to that end.

**Responsibilities**

Here’s an example of your day:

- Updating and monitoring all collections processes, policies, and manuals to ensure compliance and a great customer experience
- Preserve customers from payment delinquency and maximizing collection process performance to reach targets (POT, regularization, cash collected)
- Handling customer payment difficulties with sensitivity and tactfulness
- Presenting weekly collections data via regularisation report
- Managing partner relationships (for example: collection agencies, and potential outsourced reminder partners)
- Identify and lead continuous improvements in Collections
- Lead, develop, motivate, and mentor team members
- Participate in Group Audits regarding required collections information
- Ensure tasks and duties are allocated efficiently to meet monthly
- Regularization/efficiency targets and proactively respond to variances in targets

**Requirements**:
Here’s what experience we need from you:

- Previous debt recovery experience
- In-depth knowledge of local guidelines
- Proven ability to meet collections KPI targets
- Be self-motivated and commercially minded
- Experience with process improvements/projects
