HR Support Officer Role perfect for getting your foot in the door Well known Government Organisation.
Well known Government organisation looking for a HR Support Officer. Responsible for providing HR support to the HR Project Officer by efficiently coordinating, monitoring, reviewing, and progressing documentation relating to flexible work practices and long-term leave; recruitment, appointments, temporary end dates, separations, and related workforce management functions. Looking to engage someone for 3 months starting ASAP.
**Responsibilities**
- Support and work collaboratively with the HR Team to ensure high quality service delivery across a range of human resources disciplines including, employee and industrial relations, performance management, recruitment and selection, workforce planning and reporting, and other areas as required.
- Provide quality advice and guidance to managers and employees relating to HR information systems and processes (eg Aurion & Tadpole time-recording); and relevant policies and procedures.
- Review business group specific resource materials in accordance with departmental policies for relevant SharePoint sites.
- Support the administration and coordination of the Tadpole time-recording system for applicable business areas.
- Maintain the SharePoint accurately to ensure it provides real time reporting for management and staff as required.
- Contribute to the evaluation of human resources services and initiatives to ensure efficiencies that support business outcomes.
- Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of the HR network and contribute to corporate initiatives as required.
- Maintain sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management practices to ensure currency of knowledge and skills and service outcomes for clients.
**Selection criteria**
- Degree in HR is desirable.
- Able to build and sustain relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes.
- Pursues opportunities for growth through agile learning, and development of self-awareness.
- Demonstrates accountability for the execution and quality of results through professionalism, persistence, and transparency.
- Maintains a high standard of practice through governance and risk management.
