In line with our Customer First Strategy and to continue to drive our online success, Myer is opening a new National Distribution Centre (NDC). This “state of the art” facility based in Ravenhall will utilise automated solutions to centrally replenish stock to stores, as well as servicing the fulfilment needs of our online customer.

Reporting to the Systems and Inventory Manager, this role supports the operations team in delivering outstanding results by managing and optimising key operational technologies and systems (Warehouse Management systems - WMS and Robotics Management Systems - RMS) and has responsibility for on time and accurate online fulfilment and store replenishment by managing the inventory control.

As the Systems Specialist, you will own real time control of all automation and robotics, workflow control and order waving, as well as be providing feedback to the operations team for current order status and projection finish times.

This position will be the first point of contact for the operations team for any on-floor systems issues to be resolved, perform troubleshooting, rectify problems and escalate where necessary.

**About you**:

- You will be fully competent in all automation systems onsite (Geek+ and UCS Automation) and be able to react quickly to system faults with this technology
- Experienced in systems knowledge within a distribution centre environment
- Experienced in the management of WMS and RMS systems within a fast passed operational environment
- Problem-solving experience within an automated environment
- Strong Systems reporting (particularly WMS and SQL)
- Demonstrated ability to work with new automated technology and setting up systems
- Ideally 3 years’ experience within a DC systems/automation role
