**How you'll make an impact**
As the Portfolio Delivery Principal, you'll serve as the single point of delivery accountability and leadership for North Platform's strategic transformation, orchestrating the successful execution of complex value streams and projects that directly enhance AMP's competitive position in the wealth management sector. Your leadership will establish a centre of delivery excellence, creating consistent methods and standards for planning, execution, and monitoring that enable the effective realisation of strategic objectives across the North Platform. Through your direct management of the Delivery Leadership Team and partnership with AMP Programs, you'll shape portfolio roadmaps and drive large-scale transformation initiatives while maintaining meticulous oversight of timelines, budgets, risks and quality. Your strategic influence extends to Board and Executive-level communications where you'll articulate delivery status and opportunities, ensuring North Technology's initiatives align with AMP's broader strategic objectives while fostering a high-performance culture that delivers measurable value to clients and stakeholders.
**What you will bring to the role**
Your success will be anchored in years of proven delivery leadership experience, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in complex and high-pressure environments while identifying and managing program risks across diverse technology portfolios. You'll bring in-depth knowledge of best practice delivery methodologies, with expertise in embedding end-to-end Agile frameworks through cross-functional business and technology teams, complemented by a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and how PMO, business and technology roles interact to produce high-quality outcomes. Your leadership capabilities will shine through your ability to lead and inspire teams through transformational change, developing and instilling a continuous improvement culture focused on innovation and process excellence while consulting with senior stakeholders to drive high standards of delivery and operation. Most importantly, you'll bring outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to make the complex simple, work confidently with senior stakeholders to clarify needs and manage expectations and build strategic partnerships with third-party suppliers while maintaining governance over complex delivery portfolios and supporting the delivery of robust, resilient platform solutions.
