**The role**
This role has two key functions. Firstly, to partner with the IT Development team to plan, schedule and deliver on Technology based training program. Secondly, to coordinate the Technology Academy intake and delivery of the program. Whilst not expected to host technical training, some technical understanding would be greatly beneficial.

**Position Accountabilities**
- A day in the life of:_
- Working with the Head of Development, to plan and deliver on our Technology Academy.
- Support the growth of the Technology Academy program by operationalising the on-boarding of the Academy members into Development teams.
- Assisting in the development of a standardised assessment for development language proficiency.
- Line leader responsibilities for those currently in the Technology academy prior to moving into a development team. All aspects including HR, Leave, Performance associated activities.
- Organise, schedule, and support the delivery of IT training across Development.
- Liaising with the providers of our training platform and other opportunities for training courses and materials.
- Manage and review the delivery of training plans and maintain a training records.
- Gather assessment and evaluations of various IT training courses conducted in the organisation, to ensure strong focus on continuous improvement, achievement of business goals and validity of learning content.

**Position Description**
- Exceptional presentation skills to champion the technology academy to drive engagement internally and externally.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Assist in the development of bespoke/accelerator programs as needed to support alternative onboarding opportunities.
- An eye for identifying people with great potential, ambition, and drive. Helping us select the right people to join our Technology Academy.

**Decision Making**:

- You will have full ownership, with consultation with the Head of Development, to develop and expand our technology academy to reach our vision.

**What experience you’ll bring**
- 2-3 years working with or around the IT Industry and some level of understanding of software development
- Formal education in training methodologies and training programs an advantage.
- Proven experience managing stakeholders both technical and non-technical in a highly professional manner.
- Experience in managing a small team (5-10) of Individual contributors.
- Strong autonomous background and ability to self-manage time and tasks.
