**Job posting end date**:
Currently seeking a technical and professional individual to join the team. This role will be responsible for providing Horizontal Grinding Mill technical assistance to the GQS team.

**Key accountabilities and responsibilities**:
Providing technical support to the GQS team through the SalesForce ticketing system, including locating and providing drawings, specs and other technical documentation and information
Providing technical support to the Grinding Product Group, Grinding Proposals teams and extended market area Technical Sales Support teams, including locating and providing drawings, specs and other technical documentation and information
Participating in technical warranty claim or customer complaint handling.
Contribute to Technical Knowledge Management (service related work instructions, resolution database, fault statistics, activity in technical community) in own technology area.
Providing input to Technical Documentation, such as manuals, service workbooks and eCatalogues
Ensure systematic case handling through workflow/ticketing system according to agreed response and resolution times with adequate resolution information.
Ensure proper fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of Metso Outotec.
Escalates issues to Product Manager

**Key skills and experience required**:
Technical background required, including Engineering Degree, Trade Qualification or significant experience in a technical role.
In depth technical knowledge of Grinding Mills essential, and detailed knowledge of legacy Metso Outotec Grinding Mill products and technology desirable
Knowledge and experience working with legacy Metso Outotec Grinding drawing archives, PLM systems, manufacturing specifications highly desirable.
Practical field experience working with Grinding Mills desirable
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, specs and hydraulic schematics is essential
Understanding of instrumentation and control systems desirable
Understanding of heavy component manufacturing processes and specifications desirable
Ability to travel infrequently internationally to other Metso Outotec offices required
Ability to pass a typical pre-site medical assessment and Police Clearance essential
Ability to work at a computer for long periods, including the ability to concentrate on reading and writing technical documentation and communicate in a professional office environment is essential
