**The Company**
Our client is a market leader in their industry, manufacturing and delivering innovative fresh bakery products to the retail supermarket and restaurant industries. Due to planned business growth, they are seeking an experienced and passionate People and Culture Manager to join the busy team.
**The Role**
The People and Culture Manager will work closely with senior leadership in developing the HR Strategy that supports the business and then be responsible for the implementation. Your small and competent HR team will support you with the management of the day-to-day HR operations for this circa 200 people manufacturing business.
- Create and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and activities
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and HR administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, legislation, and core values
- Support employee relations matters and performance management
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to managers
- Prepare HR reports and communications
- Continuously improve HR systems and processes
**What do we need from you?**
- A genuine passion for effective HR, people, and culture
- Stakeholder engagement; experience on collaborating with multiple business units
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
- Degree in human resources management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proactive nature and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Organizational skills and ability to be a Values ambassador
The role would suit someone who has worked closely with senior leadership in the past and are ready for a challenging environment that needs a proactive, flexible and positive approach. The business has just implemented UKG (a new HRIS) which has greatly reduced workload for the team, paving the way for more proactive HR and L&D strategies. It is an exciting time to join.
