Cafe Manager

Locals will already know that Ivan's Pies has been working hard behind the scenes, and we're now preparing to open our brand-new café. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in launching an exciting new chapter for one of Victoria's most loved food brands.

As our Café Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our new café, ensuring a welcoming environment, smooth service, and consistent delivery of high-quality food and drinks. You'll lead the team, oversee rostering and stock, and work closely with the broader Ivan's team to build a thriving, community-focused café.

• Lead and manage a small café team with a great mix of new and existing talent.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build on our strong customer relationships.
• Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality.
• Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Create and manage staff rosters in line with operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and hygiene standards.
• Drive sales growth and support promotional activities

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Strong people management and customer service skills.
• A hands-on, can-do attitude and the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for hospitality and creating a great customer experience.
