My client, a dynamic organization in Altona, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Site Manager, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Customer Service Administration:_
- Coordinate daily inventory control and movements in collaboration with Customers, Transport, and Operations staff.
- Process customer purchase orders and requests daily.
- Generate and distribute paperwork for inventory receipt/dispatch.
- Conduct induction training for visitors/drivers and ensure proper sign-in/out procedures.
- Assist in administration tasks, including invoice report running and aviation exports.
- Provide quotes for special customer requirements and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
- Inventory Management:_
- Manage daily inventory receipt and dispatch.
- Liaise with customers on stock rotation requirements.
- Perform stock reconciliation and physical stock takes.
- Control pallets and maintain lot tracking within the system.
- Monitor and maintain purchase orders for incoming goods.
- Other Support:_
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and OH&S requirements.
- Collaborate with upper-level management as required.
- Conduct market research on opposition companies (in collaboration with Brand & Marketing Manager).

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills, both external and internal.
- Logistics backgrounds will be highly regarded
- Proficient computer skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent prioritizing and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of ADG Code for Transport & Storage of DG’s is desirable.
- Ability to adapt effectively to change.
- High motivation for goal-setting and achievement.
- Honest, integrity, and a desire for self-improvement.
- Flexible and collaborative attitude towards colleagues and peers.
- Highly professional presentation and manner.
