The Client Benefits Division (CBD) delivers products and services to give effect to defined DVA policy outcomes. It is responsible for case management of claims including registration, assessments, determinations, reviews and reconsiderations, as well as operational support activities such as quality assurance and compliance, performance reporting, business coordination and improvement and business systems administration.
The Income Support Branch (ISB) is one of five branches that operate under the umbrella of the CBD. It provides a quality and timely service to eligible veterans and their families to ensure an appropriate level of income support. It delivers the Government’s social policy and support agenda through the administration of various means-tested benefits and allowances.

This recruitment process is being used to fill an ongoing or non-ongoing position.
A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for a specified term of up to 18 months. A specified term may be extended up to a maximum period of 3 years.
