**Mandatory: Australian Citizenship required to work within Federal Government** Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage in multiple APS6 Case Managers for a 12-month assignment with potential extension in Adelaide CBD. About the Team Appeals Tribunal (AAT). The branch aims to improve the experience of current and prospective participants About the Role The APS6 Case Management is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents. The position is a team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a range of activities. The role is required to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership within the work area. The APS6 Case Management is required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. Where required, the role will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support objectives to "build a world-leading Scheme". Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: - Undertaking case management of complex AAT matters and analysing to develop options for early resolution. - Obtaining necessary information and advice to effectively resolve AAT matters. - Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations and Hearings conducted by the AAT. - Preparing documents detailing resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings. - Assessing and responding to priorities and risks, including risk to the participant, Scheme sustainability and the NDIA. - Preparing and maintaining electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decision making processes and justifying conclusions reached during the case management process. (NOTE: the key responsibilities of the role are based on current priorities and may change over time) What's on Offer? - Position located in Adelaide - APS6 $58.50/ph + super - Temporary contract for 12 months, with possibility to extend - Standard Hours or work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm It is highly desirable that the successful applicant understand or lived experience in the field of disability.
