**About your role**

UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business is currently seeking a Project Lead to join the team at our Spotswood Locomotive Maintenance Facility on a permanent full time basis. Due to a change in scope on one of our contracts this role has been created to support with our preventative maintenance program.
As the Project Lead, you will be responsible the management and planning of component change out events on our customers fleet inline with the maintenance plan and ensuring compliance. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial forecasting as well as short and long term maintenance program forecasts.
The Project Lead will manage 3rd party suppliers, drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensure quality standards are met and manage the fleets rotable components pool.

**About you**
- Trade qualification and/or tertiary qualification in management, production management and/or an engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance, production and/or plant maintenance planning environment. Rail preferred
- Strong systems/software experience including excel and reporting - exporting and manipulating data
- Experienced gained in the rail, automotive, defence, mining, avionics or any other safety critical environment. Rail preferred
