The Principal Project Lead, Compliance, Safety, and Incident Management, your primary responsibility will be to manage and lead the day-to-day regulatory compliance responsibilities within Residential Tenancies Act 1997 & Residential Tenancies Regulations 2021 (RTA) spearheading the definition of business challenges, pinpointing areas for efficiency enhancements, and identifying opportunities for improved client service within the compliance responsibilities within the RTA. Leveraging your profound domain expertise in departmental systems and processes, you serve as the foremost authority on the Facilities Management Unit and its Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Manage and lead the RTA safety check allocations and compliance activities within the Facilities Management Unit, ensuring meticulous adherence to regulatory standards and operational effectiveness, while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of RTA compliance and Minimum Rental Standards, and coordinating contractor engagement and monitoring as needed.
- Manage & proactively identify and address emerging issues in RTA compliance and Minimum Rental Standards, effectively mitigating disruptions or hazards for the department, including oversight of contractor activities and performance.
- Lead key projects aimed at refining policies, professional standards, and operational practices to optimize service delivery, budget allocation, operational efficiency, and enhance renter satisfaction, collaborating with contractors as necessary, while also spearheading intricate projects focusing on establishing quality standards, robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and analytical processes relevant to RTA compliance and Minimum Rental Standards activities, overseeing contractor involvement and performance
