**The key objective of this analyst role is to provide support with inbound freight management focusing on verifying the accuracy of inbound shipment and Customs Clearance documents and process. The goal is to support in providing the highest quality service to our customers by supporting, monitoring, and ensuring an open / error free flow of Medtronic’s inventory into our ANZ distribution network.

**A Day in the Life
**The Transport & Trade Operations Analyst role has a key responsibility supporting the monitoring, analysis, interpretation, and actioning of all day-to-day operational aspects of Transport & Trade related processes.

**Responsibilities**
- Analysis and verification of charging and product accuracy in Medtronic inbound delivery documents (customer declarations)
- Provide support to the inbound freight team
- Follow up on partial/short arrivals (air& sea freight inbound)
- Filing pre-alert documents (including carrier invoices), Filling Import declaration with supporting documents.
- Track & Trace of all inbound import shipments
- Update inbound freight sheet including eta’s
- Support the Medtronic Transport Supervisor by providing direction, instruction, and guidance to the 3PL in executing logistics projects and process improvements
- Reverse logistics bookings and inquires
- Receive customer requests for product returns and transfers
- Make bookings with designated couriers and transport carriers based on requested service levels
- Log returns and transfers in Returns log to ensure traceability of requests
- Follow-up returns and transfers to ensure that bookings have been executed and completed
- Pro-actively identify potential issues and areas for further improvement within Medtronic and with our transport providers.
- Provide/Produce any Customs documentations needed for export returns
- Review & processing of transport and customs related invoices
- Provide backup support when team members are on leave or absent
- Assist in the coordination of transport activities, such as escalation, prioritisation, and any special requirements
- Monitor KPI’s and SLA’s for all logistics service providers and ensure deviations are investigated and rectified across trade and transport
- Act as an escalation between Medtronic and 3PL’s regarding system and process alignment
- Provide additional support to Medtronic and 3PL supply chain operations as needed
- Work effectively and efficiently within a complex matrix organisation, in an environment where priority changes can occur. Behave as an ambassador for Medtronic in general and ANZ Supply Chain specifically, according to ethical standards, Medtronic business code of conduct and Leadership Expectations
- Be compliant with the Quality and Regulatory procedures, standard Medtronic policies, Environment Health Safety & Security guidelines
- Document reporting processes and systems to comply with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Additional duties upon request.

**Must Have**
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

**Nice to Have**
- Experience in supply chain and customer service process
- Demonstrated experience in SAP (preferred)
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry (Preferable)
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and projects across function and with external service providers.
- Solution focused - Demonstrates initiative and innovation to generate ideas and solutions for different situations
