**Medical Receptionist**

We are seeking a casual medical receptionist to join our team in Burwood with occasional travel to Campbelltown and North Sydney office.

Role:
Meeting and Greeting patients at reception

Managing incoming telephone calls

Scheduling and organizing patient appointments using Genie software

Processing patient information, payments and Medicare rebates

General office tasks including using Microsoft Word and Excel

Managing patient paperwork, referrals and billing

General housekeeping

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Typing (minimum 60wpm) Dictaphone typing an advantage

Assisting Practice Manager with ad-hoc administrative task

About You:
Are you a proactive problem solver that takes initiative to solve problems but who can also follow instructions, accept feedback, and work within a team environment?

Are you a fast learner, with experience in the use of Microsoft (Outlook, Word & Excel) and medical diary software like Genie.

**Previous experience working in the medical industry is desirable**.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $23.03 - $32.71 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical admin: 1 year (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
