**Medical Receptionist**

Are you passionate about customer service and helping people. We are seeking a casual medical receptionist to join our team in Burwood with occasional travel to Campbelltown and North Sydney office.

**This role would be suitable to someone currently studying or you’re looking to get back into the workforce. 1-2 days per week, must be available Wednesdays.**

Role:
Meeting and Greeting patients at reception

Managing incoming telephone calls

Scheduling and organizing patient appointments using Gentu software

Processing patient information, payments and Medicare rebates

General office tasks including using Microsoft Word and Excel

Managing patient paperwork, referrals and billing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

General housekeeping

Typing (minimum 60wpm) Dictaphone typing an advantage

Assisting Practice Manager with ad-hoc administrative task

About You:
Are you a proactive problem solver that takes initiative to solve problems but who can also follow instructions, accept feedback, and work within a team environment?

Are you a fast learner, with experience in the use of Microsoft (Outlook, Word & Excel) and medical diary software like Genie/ Gentu.

**Previous experience working in the medical industry is desirable**.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.95 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical reception : 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
