Your new role
As a Technical Risk Manager, you will be responsible for developing and enacting Technical Risk Management within the Guided Missile Destroyer Systems Program Office (DDGSPO).
DDG is a fast evolving Sustainment Enterprise that has now seen multiple levels of support and progression into the development of the Future Maritime Sustainment Model that also includes substantial interactions into the ongoing controls required to allow external projects, within Defence, to interact seamlessly with the DDG Engineering Change Management System in support to Defense's Guided Missile Destroyers. DDG operating Model has been identified as the Operational Model for all future maritime sustainment enterprises and has shown to be at the lead of the Defence Sustainment development and continues to take the lead in the development of robust & comprehensive support to Navy and all Defence Enterprises.

**This opportunity will see you providing**:

- Support and control for the continued Use and improvement/development of the TRMS Tool within the DDG Maritime Sustainment Environment
- Level 1 Support to 150+ TRMS Tool Users
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of TRMS into the Future Maritime Sustainment Model under Plan Galileo
- Support to “DDG Tool Time” in Discussions with DDG and All other Maritime Sustainment Enterprises with Specific interest and discussions into the ‘How To' for TRMS
- Support for alignment and ongoing management of TRMS Data with all other DDG NLIS Toolsets (DOORS, AMPS, CMT, Navallow & TRMS)
- Support to the development of Plan Galileo Holocentric process controls for Future Maritime.
- TRMS Support and control to DDG External Projects for Major Upgrades

About you
The Configuration Management and Technical Data Team are currently looking for a Technically minded person, preferably with an understanding of the Defence Maritime Sustainment environment with an emphasis on the requirements surrounding the capture and recording of Technical Risk associated within the Engineering Change Management processes of Defense's newest and most sophisticated war ships to also include support to the team to develop a full support model for the entire Defence Naval Logistics Information Systems (NLIS).

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- The ability to obtain or already hold an Australian Defence Clearance
- Demonstrable understanding of Risk Management within a Technical Environment
- Background in Defence/Navy or Technical experiences
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
