About the role
The Buyers Administration Assistant works within our Merchandising team, supporting the buying process with accurate data management and product information. They also manage the purchase order process and liaise with suppliers and shipping to ensure on time deliveries for our customers.
Your areas of responsibility also include
- Update and maintain and product and pricing changes
- Ensure product information is correct including descriptions, colours, variants, barcodes, costs, and categories
- Ensuring the RRP’s are presented to the Head of Merchandise and Buying and communicating with external suppliers all product information by deadline
- Creating Purchase order, and ensuring on time delivery
**Profile**:
You are a naturally organised person with a high level of attention to detail. You have intermediate excel skills and excellent communication, both written and verbal. You have worked within retail and have experienced with data management. An understanding of inventory management would be highly advantageous.
You enjoy working in a team and enjoy multi-talking and problem solving. You get to see the behind the scenes of a retail icon, working closely with Buyers and Planners.
