**About the role**: There is currently one vacant fixed term VPSG-2 Administration Support Officer position with the Capability Division, Counter Terrorism Command. As a successful applicant, you will be required to provide quality and timely administrative support across the Command. Initial duties are within the Countering Violent Extremism unit, but the successful applicant may be asked to perform duties within other areas of the Command. This position reports to a Business Services Supervisor, within the Business Services Team which provides administrative support to the Counter Terrorism Command. Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements. **Your duties will include**: - Record keeping and correspondence management - Stationary ordering and analysis - Rostering and leave record management as requested by the Work Unit - Assisting with telephone enquiries - Intranet publishing - Minute taking - Access requests - Provide general administrative support - Perform general financial administrative activities - Handling of confidential material - Archiving **About You**: - Ability to maintain systematic and accurate administrative records - Commitment and achievement in meeting a high level of customer service to all clients - Ability to prioritise work with mínimal supervision - Great interpersonal skills to effectively engage with key stakeholders and work well within a team environment - Excellent verbal and written communication - Demonstrated initiative and proactive work practices - Strong computer skills - particularly in using Microsoft Office Suite - Commitment to high service delivery standards **Further Information**: - One (1) x fixed term full-time position available to 30 June 2027. - This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands. - The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head.
