We are looking for an highly motivated FOH Manager to help growing this little amazing business settled in the beautiful Byron Bay.
At "La Bottega by Peppe Pizza " our aim is to provided not only the best food but especially the best and real Italian experience that you can find in the Northern Rivers Area.

Along side with our deli - settle in the Industrial Estate in Byron
- we also have a vibrant catering service that provided the real Italian feast in your very own back yard

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Continuously touching tables and getting to know guests
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
- Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- Oversees opening and closing tasks and balances daily and nightly cash drawers.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills
- Knowledge of Italian food is a must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $25.80 - $33.96 per hour
