**The Company**
Nexif Ratch Energy is a joint venture between Nexif Energy and Ratch Group.

Nexif Energy is an independent power producer engaged in development, financing, construction and opportunistic acquisition conventional and renewable power generation assets across South & Southeast Asia and Australia. Since its founding in 2015, Nexif Energy has developed and invested in gas-fired power generation in Thailand & Australia, hydroelectric power in Vietnam, wind power in Australia and Vietnam, and solar power in the Philippines.

Ratch, which is an affiliate of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), is the largest Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Thailand listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. As of September 2020, Ratch owns power generation capacity of more than 8,000 MW located in Thailand, Australia, Laos, China, Indonesia and Vietnam.

**About the role**:
Based in Adelaide (Melbourne considered) and reporting into the Managing Director, the Head of Operations is responsible for the safe and efficient operation along with the administrative, financial, capital maintenance management of the assigned portfolio. This role leads a team with multi technology experience. Key stakeholders including internal management and staff as well as external service contractors, AEMO, ElectraNet, land agents, other Government agencies.

The current operation portfolio of assets include Lincoln Gap Wind Farm, Battery Storage System and Snapper Point Peaker. There are plans for additional significant renewable generation assets and this role will have involvement with taking these projects through late-stage development to financial close. This role will also provide support during construction of any additional assets and take ownership of the management of the assets during operations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Management and optimisation of asset performance including by not limited to the implementation and monitoring of equipment maintenance programs and appropriate allocation of resources to specific maintenance and upgrading tasks.
- Resource & Contractor Management
- Consistently improve profitability of the wind farm assets
- Systematic implementation of effective cost control processes for both maintenance and operation of the wind farm facilities
- Demonstrate leadership practices (e.g. promote teamwork, encourage consultation, communication, role modelling, continuous improvement)

**Experience and Skills**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Previous asset management experience of infrastructure, power, or renewable energy assets
- Risk management experience
- Contract management
- Negotiation skills
- Stakeholder management experience with the likes of EPA is advantageous
- Management and leadership experience
- Complex report writing and presentation experience an advantage
