**About the Role**:
Our team is continuing to grow as is the complexity of our software offering and the quality expectations of our service delivery from our customers. We now require the level of strategic management of the operational teams that necessitates the Chief Operating Officer position. Key areas of focus for this role are:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Company - with particular focus on the areas which report to the COO (Customer Success Team & Contracts) and coordinating with the Software Development and Technical Team
- Ensure efficient coordination and cooperation between these teams and decide on priorities and allocation of work between teams
- Implement Company Strategy for the areas which report to the COO.

The ultimate goal of this role is to ensure the users of our software have the best possible experience and maximise their utility from the system. This is key to enabling them to be more sustainable and to deliver to their aged, disabled or in other ways challenged clients to live better lives.

**About You**:
We are looking for someone who is;
- Experienced and confident in working with and servicing larger scale customer organisations
- Motivated by delivering positive customer outcomes and can empathise with customers
- Proactive in creating and implementing solutions to customer problems
- Resourceful, good with time management, always meets their commitments, and
- Most of all, is a great communicator

**Essential Criteria**:

- Leadership experience, with the ability to organise and lead a diverse range of resources to deliver value outcomes effectively and efficiently
- A solid understanding of service management principles, including knowledge of ITIL, as well as software development methods and project management methodologies, such as PMBOK/PRINCE2
- Experience with service delivery governance practices, cyber security, and risk and compliance requirements in a technology context
- Aware of contemporary delivery practices (eg. devops, agile)
