This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll experience who values accuracy, collaboration, and purpose in their work.


About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial and payroll operations of IPS. You'll ensure accurate record keeping, timely payroll processing, and contribute to maintaining our high standards of financial compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing employee salaries, wages, and entitlements accurately and on time.
  • Managing client invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end reporting, including audits.
  • Maintaining accurate ledgers and financial documentation.
  • Assisting with compliance and internal policy processes.
  • Collaborating across teams to support efficient financial operations.

About You

You're a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives on structure and accuracy. You take pride in delivering timely, high-quality work and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Proven payroll experience (essential).
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or progress toward an accounting qualification.
  • Experience in finance and accounting functions.
  • Proficiency with MYOB and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Must be an Australian resident with full working rights.
