**The role**
The Surveillance Technical Officer plays a key role in the daily operation of the Surveillance Technical team. Duties include maintaining and ensuring efficient operation of Surveillance systems, delivering technical support to the Surveillance Department, and working with contractors and external service providers to deliver installation and maintenance services.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support and maintain the CCTV network and Video Management System, ensuring efficient and continued operation.
- Analyse technical problems, identify and implement appropriate solutions.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Surveillance systems and processes.
- Support the delivery of business initiatives and surveillance projects.
- Work effectively within immediate and cross-functional teams.
- Perform network patching and racking tasks when required.
- Ensure system documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
**Key requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in a frontline technical support role.
- Possess excellent stakeholder management & communication skills and ability to build relationships internally & externally.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of CCTV, Video Management Systems and Video Analytics.
- Highly developed troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Genuine exposure across technical infrastructure from desktop to server.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and projects.
