**DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS**:
At FNET Distribution, our business is parcel contracting to Australia Post. We need Transport Company Manager to perform the following tasks and responsibilities:
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As a Transport Company Manager at our parcel distribution company, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of parcels. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and optimizing the transportation activities, including fleet management, driver supervision, and route planning. You will work closely with various teams, including logistics, warehouse, and customer service, to meet organizational goals and ensure a smooth transportation process.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Fleet Management:

- Manage the company's fleet of vehicles, including vans, trucks, and delivery vehicles.
- Ensure the fleet is properly maintained, serviced, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization, minimize downtime, and reduce maintenance costs.

2. Driver Supervision:

- Supervise and manage a team of drivers, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Monitor driver performance, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Foster a positive and safe work environment for drivers, promoting adherence to safety standards and best practices.

3. Route Planning and Optimization:

- Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency, minimize fuel consumption, and reduce delivery times.
- Utilize route planning software and GPS tracking systems to monitor and adjust routes as needed.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely delivery of parcels.

4. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including driver hours of service, vehicle weight restrictions, and licensing requirements.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and proactively implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vehicle inspections, driver qualifications, and regulatory compliance.

5. Vendor Management:

- Collaborate with third-party transportation providers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
- Monitor the performance

Education : AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma

Australian Experience : At least 3 + years of Australian Experience **OR**

Overseas Experience : At least 3+ years of Overseas Experience

Specialist : Transport Company Management

Work Rights : Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
