**Aviation Operations Manager**

The Aviation Operations Manager assumes responsibility for the efficient execution of duties and tasks outlined in company policies and will be responsible for the following:

- Overseeing flight tracking and monitoring activities in accordance with both regulatory standards and client expectations.
- Addressing and managing air and ground operation disruptions effectively.
- Handling crew management rostering tasks efficiently.
- Ensuring optimal operational performance while adhering to contractual obligations.
- Supervising the performance of external ground services providers to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and regulatory mandates.
- Establishing and monitoring measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within ground handling Service Level Agreements, in accordance with company protocols.
- Responding to audit findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Responsible for optimizing manpower and resources to meet customer expectations while minimizing costs.
- Coordinating all operational functions to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
- Providing direct support to the Accountable Manager in policy formulation, strategic planning, and operational development.
- Collaborating closely with the Quality and Safety Department to review, revise, and update operational manuals as needed.
- Ensuring appropriate training for operational staff, emphasizing regulatory compliance, emergency response, and workplace safety.
- Managing incident reporting, supporting investigations, and ensuring closure of incidents.

**Job Requirements**:

- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
- 5 years plus experience in Aviation Air and Ground Operations.
- Proficiency in Aviation regulations is essential with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A Strong team play who can adapt to dynamic and diverse work environments.
