We are Canberra's most trusted provider of diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology services. An opportunity is available to join our caring and cohesive team of clinicians and administrators who are dedicated to supporting each other and the people we help.

A full-time position is open in our administrative team to support our clinicians and clients across our Deakin, Bruce, Harrison and Erindale clinic locations. This is a varied and comprehensive role that would suit someone with excellent customer service skills who is looking for a challenge and an opportunity to learn and develop skills. In-depth training will be provided, as well as ongoing mentoring, to give you the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greeting clients and visitors
- General administration duties including data entry, scanning, correspondence and maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
- Handling phone enquiries and providing general information to clients about services provided.
- Booking appointments and managing clinicians’ schedules.
- Supporting clinicians as required to deliver effective and responsive services.
- Invoicing and processing payments, including Medicare claims.
- Understanding and correctly implementing documented procedures, such as waitlist management and minor hearing aid repairs.
- Understanding and facilitating billing through funding programs such as DVA, Hearing Services Program and NDIS.

- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and collaborate
- Strong written and verbal language skills
- Understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel

- An independent thinker with the ability to recognise and consider problems, propose solutions and welcome feedback.
- Experience or qualifications in medical, dental or allied health reception are preferred. Experience in a customer service environment will also be highly valued.
