The Canberra Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (CAPS) Clinic is a unique and comprehensive plastic surgery practice based in Deakin. Led by specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr Alastair Taylor, we have been caring for the Canberra community for over 25 years. Dr Taylor offers a full suite of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. In our MyGenesis clinic, we offer a comprehensive range of non-surgical skin and body rejuventation treatments. In our 360UV Clinic, we provide a comprehensive and professionally supported skin cancer unit offering a full range of skin cancer treatments and skin checks.

ABOUT YOU:
As the business continues to grow, so too does our need for a flexible, highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to work within a team as well as autonomously, have outstanding time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- at least 2 years experience within the health care industry or a specialist medical practice.
- demonstrated competency with billing.
- experience with practice management software.
- high level IT skills with the ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- strong attention to detail.
- have the ability to prioritise and multi-task.

THE ROLE:
The successful applicant will perform a broad range of administrative duties which include, but are not limited to:

- Greeting patients and managing a busy reception desk.
- Coordinating doctor schedules.
- Preparing and receipting patient accounts
- Preparation of paperwork
- General office duties including scanning and data entry
- Scheduling of patient appointments and surgeries
- Ensure medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently.

Full time (Monday-Friday), part time hours many be considered.
