**As the Pedagogy Coach you will**:

- Have skills around building staff capacity in a formalised coaching cycle
- Build staff knowledge and implementation of the teaching of reading
- Have a strong understanding of data interrogation to inform pedagogy
- Have knowledge around the processes for leading strong PLTs (Professional Learning Teams) to deliver and include the teaching of reading across all KLAs
- Be familiar with pedagogy appropriate to English V9 and their interrelationship in shaping the way English is taught; in particular the Simple View of Reading, Language in use, not so Simple View of Writing, and the five Approaches to Literature.
- Be committed to providing quality teaching outcomes for all students.
