Kenmore SHS engages three pedagogical coaches who support teachers in their growth and development. Pedagogy coaches at our school work with a large, diverse staff and coach/support in 1:1 scenarios, faculty initiatives and whole school teaching and learning agendas. They are an integral part of our collegial engagement and professional development models. Pedagogy coaches contribute to growing our teaching staff in order to ultimately increase the potential of every student at our school succeeding.Applicants should have experience in coaching, knowledge of benefits and risks in coaching frameworks and refined and purposeful interpersonal attributes that support these approaches. Applicants ideally have training in the GROWTH coaching, IMPACT cycle or other accredited coaching training to undertake these roles. They understand the coaches 'way of being' and their critical impact on staff culture. Extensive experience in coaching across faculty areas is also highly desired.Pedagogy coaches at our school support the teaching and learning team through an intensive and organised focus on quality teaching and teacher self-efficacy. Coaches must also be willing to drive and actively lead a core responsibility in their role such as Preservice Teachers, Mentoring Beginning Teacher Program and/or working to develop and refine practices in senior experienced teachers.

**As the Coach, you will**:

- Lead and coordinate the coaching and mentoring of staff members, developing collegiality, building a learning and development culture, modelling innovative teaching styles and encouraging appropriate professional development.
- Lead the development, implementation and review of teaching and learning strategies in targeted programs.
- Assume a lead role within the school leadership team with the development and implementation of strategies relating to targets relevant to each school location.

The Coach reports to the Principal of their nominated base location.
