**Position Summary**:
Join our vibrant fashion retail company located in Melbourne, where they curate a stunning collection of globally sourced fashion brands. As a Store Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for fashion enthusiasts who appreciate quality and style. You'll support the Store Manager in administrative tasks, maintain accurate stock levels, drive sales, and ensure top-notch customer service. **Responsibilities**:
- Support the Store Manager in various administrative tasks, including providing reports on store, employee, and product performance.
- Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and promptly reporting any discrepancies to the Store Manager.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and provide proposals to enhance store efficiency.
- Handle cash transactions and enforce security protocols to protect merchandise.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening, closing, and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct daily briefings and debriefings to communicate sales targets and performance expectations.
- Assist in enforcing store operation policies and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Drive sales results by actively engaging in customer interactions and building a loyal client base.
- Assist with customer requests, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- Support promotional events and contribute to their successful execution.
- Demonstrate conflict resolution skills when dealing with clients in a professional manner.
- Aid in staff management activities, such as roster organization, orientation, and coaching.
- Enforce company policies and regulations and implement corrective actions to improve employee performance and conduct.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury retail environment.**:
- Full-time availability with valid work rights in Australia.
- Strong supervisory or management skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a loyal client base.
- Familiarity with monitoring staff KPIs and providing guidance for improvement.
- Experience in orienting and coaching new staff members.
- Previous experience in managing a team in a fashion retail sales environment is preferred.
